Early Interventionist
My name is Laura Wiggers. I am an Early Intervention Specialist with Bright Start! I was born in Memphis, Tennessee, but grew up in the upstate of South Carolina. I have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from the University of South Carolina Upstate. I have been an educator for over 20 years! I knew from an early age that I wanted to work with children and families. I have always had a passion for helping children with disabilities. My passion became my mission when I became a mom to a child who is on the autism spectrum disorder. I have the experience and know first hand the frustration and overwhelming feelings our families face on a day to day basis! My son is now a young adult and is working his first full time job in retail! My husband and I are now enjoying our empty nest years by traveling and spending time with family at the lake. We love football season, especially Clemson sports! In my free time I enjoy reading, doing crafts, and crocheting. I am so excited to be with Bright Start and working with you and your family as we all work together to make your child's educational journey a bright start for many years to come!
