What Makes Our Case Managers Special

Bonnie Shaw:
A Bright Start case manager is different, because they’re going to come into your home and they are going to get to know who you are.

Linda Kunz:
We are about building relationships and being a part of a family’s team or an individual’s team.

Bonnie Shaw:
They’re not there just to say, “I’m here to make an appearance and then I’m going to leave.” We want to be there, to be a part of your support system, but mostly to be part of your world. Our case managers will visit with our families every other month, and they’re also going to check in monthly. We want to see how you are doing, and we want to continue that connection.

Linda Kunz:
The frequency is to build relationships. You build relationships when meeting with people more frequently,

Bonnie Shaw:
Our case managers are going to respond to your calls or any question you have, definitely within 24 hours, but we are going to make sure to try to do that a little bit sooner, because what you have to say is important to us.
