Case Manager - Upstate Office
My name is Stacy Dickson and I just relocated from Palm Harbor, Florida. While I’ve lived in Florida my entire life up until a few months ago, I’m very happy to be in South Carolina. I graduated in December of 2017 with my A.A. in general education at Lake-Sumter State College. Then in December of 2021 I graduated with my B.A. in Visual Art & Emerging Media Management from University of Central Florida. I was a graphic designer for 5 years. Then life through some curve balls and made me change my entire career path. I had a daughter who was born premature and throughout her life has needed extensive therapies and early interventions. Life came with another surprise last year and gave me a little nephew who I fostered for a year- also born premature, needing the same services as my daughter and case management needs on top of it all. The entire experience from both children gave me new life perspective and I decided to change my career. I’ve worked as a behavior technician for children with Autism and then in a foster case home with teens as a children’s mental health specialist. It all brought me to where I am now, at Bright Start!
