Early Interventionist - Upstate Office
Hello! My name is Shelby Fitzgerald and I am an Early Interventionist. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of South Carolina Upstate in 2013. During and after graduation, I worked with children with disabilities in a variety of ways. I started with teaching individualized swim lessons while in high school/college. Once I graduated, I worked as a Special Education paraprofessional and substitute teacher. I then moved to Wichita, KS in 2015 where I worked as a Targeted Case Manager and then Community Living Supervisor for group homes for adults with disabilities. I then moved back to SC in 2020 and took a break from the field but could not stay away. Ever since a young age I have always wanted to help and advocate for children/adults with disabilities. I am excited for this opportunity and cannot wait to help families succeed in any way that I can.
