Speech Therapist - Rock Hill Office
I graduated from Winthrop University in May 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in General Communication Disorders and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education. I taught special education (resource level) for 2.5 years in the CMS district and charter school environment. I have been a practicing pediatric speech language pathologist since October 2015 when I began providing services as a speech language pathology assistant at a private practice. I graduated with my Master of Communication Disorders from the University of South Carolina in August 2017 and received Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association in August 2018. My passions include supporting medically fragile patients, early language development and feeding/swallowing disorders. I have completed over 70 continuing education hours to support my knowledge of pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders, including being a certified provider for the Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding program. I work with a variety of providers to ensure that every child has the best team approach to ensure they are getting the best treatment possible. I live in Indian Land, SC with my husband, fur baby Sperry and will be welcoming a sweet baby girl in January 2020.
