Speech Therapist - Midlands Office
I love working with all ages and collaborating with parents to help develop functional, real-world skills in therapy! I grew up in California with plans to be an English teacher. After years of tutoring, mentoring, advising, and teaching, I realized I loved working with kids one-on-one, so I pursued Speech-Language Pathology, the perfect blend of my passions: language, research, and empowering others with skills to thrive. I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Master's in Speech Pathology. During my time at UofSC, I worked in a lab that studied family experiences of fragile x syndrome and Autism, where I gained research and critical thinking skills that have shaped me into an inquisitive and evidence-based therapist with a deeper knowledge of Autism and genetic disorders. I feel so privileged to be able to work closely with families to help their little ones communicate. During my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors, watching the Great British Baking Show, and petting my rescue dog, Teddy.
