Early Interventionist
My name is Kimberly McMahan. I am an Early Interventionist with Bright Start. I am excited to continue helping families reach their full potential. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, and have previously worked with the Early Head Start and Head Start Program for about 8 years. I really enjoyed this program and helping children and their families overcome struggles they may be facing, however I wanted to continue making more of a change in children and their family's lives, such as through the work that Bright Start does. Working with children with delays and/or disabilities is important to me because my brother struggled with similar difficulties growing up. My family had some amazing support systems to help my brother achieve his full potential, and I want to help extend that type of support to families that may be struggling as well.
