Early Interventionist - Charleston Office
Hi, my name is Tina Kern, I am an Early Interventionist. I recently moved to the Charleston area from Indiana. I have been working with children and families for almost 20 years. I have a BSW from Northern Kentucky University. I started my career working with child protective services, taught preschool, teaching 2,3 and 4 year old children. My most recent job was as a service provider for Lifeline Youth and Family Services working with child protective services and probation. I worked with parents, teaching parenting, relapse prevention and home management skills. I really enjoyed working with young parents with small children. My love for working with children sparked an interest in branching into working with children with disabilities, I am excited to continue teaching and supporting families in a new way with Bright Start.
